My gorgeous, brand new little boy slid into my world on September 2nd 2010, weighing a teeny 6lb 12oz, and he immediately stole my heart.

The home water birth thing didn't quite work out - so instead we had a frenzied, frantic 1hr 2 minutes hospital delivery. Super quick and super intense (reason # 794 why Kimmy is closing the baby-making factory for good!) .

We have spent the last two weeks enjoying our "babymoon", just feeding, bonding and figuring each other out. He looks at me with his head tilted to one side, like he's trying to place an old friend. He knows me....he knows my voice, he knows the sound of my heartbeat, but my face is new.

I feel like he was meant for me. He is the missing piece that I have been waiting for. He is my much-wanted and dreamed of fourth little bundle, and I never thought I'd say it, but my family feels complete now he is in it.
